The distribution business was acquired by the Hood Organization in the mid 1990’s. Hood is a diverse family of businesses with acquisitions beginning in 1983 that includes Southern Yellow Pine sawmills, Southern Yellow Pine plywood mills, packaging plants, and roofing materials plants.
